Hello! I’m Tania Paul, a 37-year-old entrepreneur from the vibrant city of Kolkata. I was born and brought up here, and my deep love for this city and its traditional charm has always inspired me. I am a graduate by education and a passionate businesswoman by choice. Fashion, especially traditional Indian wear, has been close to my heart since childhood. That passion gradually grew into a dream — a dream to promote the beauty of Indian fabrics and craftsmanship through my own brand.
My journey in the garment business began long before Khadi Suta took its present form. Our family business started as a wholesale garments venture in 2000, serving retailers and boutiques across Kolkata and nearby regions. With years of experience, understanding customer preferences, and observing changing trends, I decided to take a step forward. In 2020, I established Khadi Suta as a retail outlet in the Kalighat area, aiming to bring high-quality, stylish, and comfortable garments directly to our customers.
